A journey filled with unique experiences

Touring Aegina & the temple of Aphea

Aegina is the first stop on our itinerary, and it is known for its famous pistachios. We spend the afternoon here in town, purchasing various pistachio treats to enjoy throughout the week as we sail.

Next, our tour takes us into the mountains, where we learn about the fascinating process of pistachio farming. As we continue our journey, we arrive at the Temple of Aphaea, from which we can see Athens and the expanse of water we sailed across that morning.

On our return to the port, we stop to admire the Byzantine architecture of the Church of Saint Nectarios. This adventure offers a deep immersion into Aegina’s rich history, guided by our dear friends who have called this island home for many generations.

Exploring Hydra

The port of Hydra is a charming and picturesque destination that embodies the timeless beauty of the Greek islands. As we moor in the inner harbor, a unique sight awaits - donkeys standing proudly along the waterfront. These gentle creatures are a part of Hydra's identity, serving as the island's primary mode of transportation.

As you stroll through the labyrinthine streets of the town, the absence of cars and the soft sound of donkeys’ hooves against the cobbled streets create a tranquil atmosphere, evoking the charm of an ancient era.

The ancient Amphiteater of Epidaurus.

Being among the first people at the amphitheater in the morning in silence, with only the sound of the wind and the cats, is a mesmerizing experience.

As you step into this remarkable archaeological site, you're transported back in time. The theater's impressive size and impeccable acoustics inspire awe, allowing you to imagine yourself among past audiences, experiencing the many performances that once echoed through this ancient theater.

Secret coves & remote bays

The remote bays of the Saronic Gulf Islands offer a serene haven for seafarers seeking solace and tranquility. Our catamaran allows us to access these hidden gems, far from the bustling tourist hubs, where we enjoy each others company under the warm Mediterranean sun.
